Why Does My Cat Want Cat Toys?

There’s nothing safe from th kitten inside my house, he plays with all that’s not glued down. Car keys, pens, pencils, rubber bands, bobby pins, plastic bags, anything, everything. I am unable to tell you how many times I am late for work because my keys are missing where do I eventually discover their whereabouts? Underneath the couch, within the chair once under the dishwasher. Initially, I accused members of the family but after a while I discovered who the culprit was, one which can’t leave anything alone, my cat!

It appears as though he’s attracted to things that he can bat or push around, the better they move the more he likes them. Who would’ve ever considered which a cat will be considering keys or pens or rubber bands? When small objects disappear, we realize who took them and we also know where to look. Under large objects including furniture or appliances happen to be where things arrive.

It makes me wonder why cats need toys once they have fun with what you could get their paws on. It took some time to know that a cat carries a [natural] have to hunt and stalk. Small objects that move easily supply them with a way to stalk, attack and push around their “prey”. Cats must release energy and by pouncing on and batting stuff that they could easily move permits them to maintain their hunting skills polished. Ah, so this is why cats need toys!

Cat toys are meant to provide healthy exercise on a daily basis. Toys are a far better approach to release energy and have fun without losing the automobile keys. Surprisingly, cat toys are available in various types. Balls, toy mice, wind-up toys to chase and also birds that make chirp noises. So many tantalizing circumstances to interest kitty, he will stop interested in the things that he should not be playing with.

Stuff has gotten much better around here because we introduced some toys to the fur baby. He plays for a long time [and hours!] regarding his toys, usually until they disappear underneath the stove or dishwasher where he can’t fit a paw in to make them. Whilst loses certainly one of his favorite toys under an appliance, he sits and stares and ultimately begins to pout. Yep, I understand he lost something and I need it for him or he’ll be eying those house keys again.
